It’s called the big-food-business my friends. My name is Syd and I began making small batch better-for-you snacks in 2016 as a creative outlet. I literally have a hand in ever single item that our small yet mighty company sells and invite you to read on to understand our journey…

In 2019 I opened my brick-and-mortar store in the heart of downtown Chicago. I quit my job in financial services to pursue my dream full-time. Soon after, my husband Andrew quit his job (also in financial services) to run the business. The store is a creative hub for my imagination and my commitment to incredibly well sourced creative snacks that are always fully vegan, and free or gluten, refined sugars, soy and refined oils. I guarantee our snacks will knock the socks off of any grocery-store-bought snack food. Think homemade, and professionally curated.

Ingrained is a “small giant”. The unique thing about us is we have turned down many offers and proposals to grow our business to more locations, franchises, co-packing opportunities, etc. all because WE LOVE WHAT WE DO. Our small yet mighty team comes into work everyday to create new, fun, exciting offerings. It’s more about “growing our business” without selling-out or cutting corners that is the real goal. That’s why we still make 100% of our items by hand out of our storefront in downtown Chicago.
